The Spark
The same child who said the room was getting gold asked, later, why the ceiling went blank. Dusk had a plot. Night had a phone. She wanted a sky that stayed in the room — not a cartoon, not a gadget, a field of light they could fall asleep inside. The gold hour should not end when the sun does.
The Hunt
Six patterns. A remote that dims. Charge, or charge with sound, or plug it in and forget the battery. She tested it on a white Gulf ceiling until the stars felt like weather, not a toy. Create until a bedtime does not need a glowing rectangle. A sky you author, then leave on.
